Working with our sales and account management to align the growing capabilities of our MedInsight product suite to the growing complexity of our customer needs, this role is an excellent opportunity to blend your advanced knowledge in the three key areas of the healthcare industry, healthcare data analytics and technical skills.
The Lead Sales Engineer will report to the Sales Engineering Senior Manager. Using healthcare knowledge, and your understanding of data analytics and reporting, this role focuses on healthcare data profiling and analysis tasks that require quantitative reasoning skills, and knowledge of tools and technologies used in healthcare data analysis. This position will be responsible for developing supporting the MedInsight sales demonstration platform, and the development of custom reports and dashboards in support of sales activities and revenue growth. You will work closely with sales, sales enablement, account management, product management, and marketing to ensure alignment across all functions. The successful candidate will be a highly organized individual who has experience developing reports to communicate complex healthcare topics with compelling stories to client prospects. This position requires strong communication skills, both verbal and written, along with an aptitude to understand data-centric, technical topics.
Primary Responsibilities:
Works with the Sales Engineer Manager to lead the maintenance and refreshing of activities related to the demonstration environment(s). This includes: Validate de-identified demonstration data and conduct user acceptance testing (UAT) based on implementation / platform requirements. Collaborate with Product Strategy on new product releases during the NPD process to evaluate prototype functionality and data against key use cases Identification and development of use case-demo story runs based on demo data Ensures demonstration environment(s) and artifacts are maintained and are current. Perform ad hoc analyses of healthcare data using MedInsight proprietary query and data visualization tools as well as use of Azure Databricks. Develop analytic reports and dashboards based on a wide array of Use Case scripts for scalable and automated product demonstrations. Assist in support activities for drafting and submitting Request for Proposals (RFPs). Support content management related to proposal (RFP) repository. Conduct targeted demonstrations of analytic reports and dashboards in support of targeted sales activities. Assist Sales Enablement in developing training and certification content around healthcare analytics for seller training. Facilitates onboarding, provides support and guidance.Preferred Skills and Experience:
Bachelor’s degree or higher required. Degree in data analytics highly desirable. Education / experience with quantitative analysis, statistics, and/or data science. 5 years of experience in working with and presenting to executive level stakeholders, both internal and external. 5 years of experience with PowerBI, Databricks, SQL, python, or Tableau highly recommended. Knowledge of use cases and best practices in healthcare data analytics, with healthcare domain knowledge required. Excellent interpersonal, communication, persuasion, presentation, and writing skills, including at the executive level. Excellent technical and professional writing skills. Expert ability to manage projects from concept to completion and multi-task, managing multiple projects simultaneously. Strong strategic, conceptual, and analytical thinking, and decision-making skills. Self-motivated; highly driven to produce results. Superior organizational and time management skills. Work independently on assigned tasks, i.e., plan, organize, problem solve and meet established deadlines.Compensation and Location:
The salary range is $85,000 - $173,000, depending on relevant factors, including but not limited to education, work experience, certifications, etc.Location:
