Job Description

Job Summary

The Salesforce Developer II is responsible for Allegis Global Solutions’ (AGS) Enterprise Global CRM application, Salesforce (AGS360).  AGS360 is central to AGS’ business operations to leverage internal data across the organization to enable better and faster management decision.  The Salesforce Developer is responsible for the designing and supporting AGS360 through the entire application lifecycle to from standard and custom solution deployments.

Responsibilities

Design, analyze, develop, and implement advanced software features including: custom solutions, branded user experiences, custom classes, scripts, triggers, forms, reports, dashboards, profile landing pages.Optimize processes and functionality of Salesforce to improve quality, security, and consistencyDesign and develop Apex Triggers as well as Apex Batch and Schedule Classes, and Email ServicesBuild reusable UI/UX components with Lightning component framework.Develop and modify custom buttons using JavaScript and Workflow rules to automate tasks, email alerts, field updates, and time-dependent actionsIntegrate Salesforce with internal and external applications which include but are not limited to:  Web Services (RESTful services), Broadbean API, Ariba, TIBCO, MuleSoft, Informatica, and Web FormsManipulate application object data using SOQL and SOSL and design/implement custom output files for leadership consumptionCustomize page layouts for standard and custom objects and assigned record typesPerformed detailed analysis of business and technical software requirements and develop user friendly UI, leveraging visual force pages with custom controllers and other platform-based technologyCreate roles, queues, and assign members accessibility permissionsCreate UI customizations to enhance user experienceManage data uploads/migration, data governance, and data/object de-cluttering and optimizationCreate test classes and perform unit testingPackage and deploy customizations from development environments to other environments, including production environment using changes sets.Provide training to internal employees and internal teams

 

QualificationsMinimum Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information System, or related major5+ years of experience using a relational database5+ years of Salesforce developer experience (analyze, plan, design, develop, test, implement, and change)5+ years of experience in data analysis and troubleshootingExpert level of experience developing custom features and solutions within Salesforce (APEX code, Lightning development, Visualforce pages, Salesforce components, deploying custom and standard objects, JavaScript, and HTML)Ability to work in AGILE development environment and knowledge of AGILE processes and proceduresSFDC certification is a must (Platform Developer II or Administrator certification)Demonstrated ability to understand and operate using SDLC methodologiesMust have an eye for data quality and experience enforcing data governanceVBA and SQL experience are a plusMust have strong technical, organizational and communication skills (both written and verbal)Must have robust, problem-solving capabilities, strong analytical skills, be flexible and able to handle multiple tasks concurrentlyAptitude for learning new technologies and learning on the fly
