Lead Salesforce Systems Analyst

THIS IS A REMOTE POSITION

PURPOSE AND SCOPE:

The Lead Systems Analyst provides analysis, coding and testing expertise within the Salesforce CRM environment and other systems in the overall systems landscape. The position supports the DTI Commercial Applications team. Mentors and trains current as well as new staff members.

PRINCIPAL RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES:
 

FUNCTIONAL:

Mapping business processes (requirements) to Salesforce CRM configurationKnowledge of Salesforce CRM modules (Sales, Service, Marketing, Experience Cloud)Knowledge of Conga/Apttus CPQ CLMExperience integrating different systems: SAP, Pharmacy, and third-party systems

TECHNICAL:

Apex Programming: Proficiency in writing, testing, and debugging Apex code.Ability to write Apex triggers to perform custom actions before or after changes to Salesforce records.Task and Event Management: Skills in managing tasks and events including custom tasks and event fields.Visualforce: Experience in creating custom user interfaces using Visualforce pages.Expertise in developing Lightning components using Aura and Lightning Web Components (LWC).Salesforce APIs: Knowledge of REST, SOAP, and Bulk APIs for integration with external systems.SOQL and SOSL: Advanced skills in Salesforce Object Query Language (SOQL) and Salesforce Object SearchData Modeling: Ability to design and implement complex data models and relationships.Salesforce Security: Understanding of Salesforce security features, including profiles, roles, and sharing rules.CI/CD: Familiarity with continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) processes and tools.Proficiency in using Salesforce declarative tools like Process Builder, Flow, and Workflow Rules.Performance Optimization: Skills in optimizing performance and scalability of Salesforce applications.Unit Testing: Strong emphasis on writing and maintaining unit tests for Apex code.Problem-Solving: Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot complex issues.Practical experience with UI and Web developmentProficiency in using Community Builder / Experience CloudExperience with MuleSoft and TableauOther duties as assigned.

RELATIONSHIPS: Peers from other CRM technical teams, the SAP Team, the UNIX team, the DBA team and the business users.

SUPERVISION: None, but leads and mentors Programmer Analysts and Senior Programmer Analysts.

 

EDUCATION: BS in Computer Science or equivalent. Master degree highly desired.

 

EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS:           

6-8 years of Salesforce experience 5+ Years Current Development experience (core requirement)Project Management experience is an advantage.Excellent written and oral communications skills.Self-starter with strong analytical and problem-solving skills who is willing to take ownership of issues and see them through to resolution with little or no supervision.
