The Lead Scheduler is responsible for leading the project administrative support to the utilities Delivery team activities, including developing, maintaining, and updating project schedules and resources. The Lead Scheduler provides guidance to lower-level team members and works with in-house and client project teams.
Responsibilities
+ Perform advanced-level project administrative support work activities requiring the application of project planning and scheduling knowledge.
+ Lead the development and maintenance of resource-loaded project schedules by closely working with the Delivery team.
+ Oversee the utilization of data gathering tools and methods to collect project and resource scheduling information.
+ Track project scope changes and ensure project status notes are updated.
+ Perform resource analysis with the Delivery team.
+ Provide analysis of resources and project schedules to assist Delivery teams with their efforts to complete projects within performance parameters of time, cost, and quality.
+ Provide various periodic and ad-hoc reports, and lead periodic meetings with Delivery team members utilizing web-based conferencing platforms.
+ Provide input on the project risk register by closely working with Delivery teams and guiding lower-level team members to do the same.
+ Work with Delivery and/or Project Controls to ensure that project information and statuses are correct to facilitate timely and accurate invoicing.
+ Monitor project actuals for correct hours to be billed on correct projects and tasks.
+ Monitor the accuracy of data to/from billing software and scheduling software.
+ Participate in the development of project control standards and guidelines.
+ Coordinate the continuous improvement of processes and procedures with the Operations group.
+ Coordinate the sharing of best practices with teams across office locations.
+ Review, evaluate, and provide recommendations as an active participant of Operations and Delivery teams.
+ Communicate and coordinate with customers and interconnected companies on issues.
+ Support team members, provide guidance and training, and review and approve related work of other team members as assigned.
+ Utilize technical interfaces of project scheduling and provide technical support to the team.

Additional Skills & Qualifications
+ Associate’s degree in a related degree program (Bachelor’s Degree is preferred)
+ Eight years of experience in scheduling or project controls in construction
+ Eight years of experience interfacing with engineering, construction, planning, and project management
Work Environment
The office is an engineering office environment that is quiet in nature. The dress code is business casual. Teamwork is highly encouraged and happens frequently.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $40.00 - $55.00/hr.
