Lead Scrum Master

Job Description:

This position requires office presence of a minimum of 5 days per week and is only located in the location(s) posted. No relocation is offered.

A Scrum Master with intermediate level experience acts as a servant leader for a scrum team using Agile/Scrum methodology, facilitating self-organization and quick adjustments. This role entails guiding the team in Agile practices, assessing and enhancing team maturity, removing impediments, and leading Agile ceremonies (e.g., Daily Standup, Retrospective).

Key Responsibilities:
•    Facilitate and lead Agile ceremonies.
•    Support and coach the team to achieve higher maturity.
•    Remove or guide the removal of productivity impediments.
•    Shield the team from external distractions.
•    Ensure the team has a safe and trusting environment.
•    Collaborate with other Scrum Masters for process improvement.
•    Represent the team to management and disseminate necessary information.
•    Develop and implement tracking metrics to measure and enhance scrum team productivity and improvement, ensuring the consistent delivery of quality features across Program Increments (PIs).

Job Requirements:
•    Intermediate level technical knowledge, preferably with a Bachelor’s degree in a related technical field.
•    Typically requires 5+ years of experience.
•    Must have a solid understanding of software development and Agile methodologies.

Additional Preferred Experience:
•    At least 5 years in a software engineering role.
•    Proficiency in technology and products within the domain.
•    Experience in leading tasks and mentoring engineers.
•    Knowledge of software development tools and standards.
•    Certification in relevant technology domains is desirable but not essential.

Technical Skills:
•    Jira, Confluence, SAFe.

Key Competencies:
•    High-level design and enforcing technical standards.
•    Hands-on development and maintenance of software components.
•    Analysis, design input, and impact assessment for new features or bug fixes.
•    Enforcing quality processes and promoting continuous improvement.
•    Technical leadership and effective task management.

Our Lead Scrum Master, earns between $128,400.00-$1215,800.00 USD Annual, Not to mention all the other amazing rewards that working at AT&T offers. Individual starting salary within this range may depend on geography, experience, expertise, and education/training.
