What You Will Do

We are looking for an experienced SDET to take on the quality assurance efforts for both mobile (iOS, Android) and Windows applications designed for outdoor use in the construction domain. As an experienced SDET, you will be responsible for designing test strategies, managing test execution, and ensuring the release of high-quality mobile and Windows applications. You will work closely with developers, product managers, and other stakeholders to ensure end-to-end product quality.

QA Role: Take up the QA efforts for both mobile (iOS, Android) and Windows app development, ensuring that all features meet the required quality standards.

Test Strategy & Planning: Define and implement comprehensive test strategies and plans, including functional, regression, performance, and compatibility testing across mobile and Windows platforms.

Automation: Oversee the development and maintenance of automated test suites for mobile and Windows applications, integrating tests into the CI/CD pipeline.

Manual Testing: Perform manual testing where necessary, focusing on complex test cases that require in-depth analysis.

Cross-Platform Testing: Ensure testing coverage across multiple platforms and devices, including mobile phones, tablets, and Windows devices, handling platform-specific functionalities.

Performance Testing: Lead efforts to implement performance, load, and stress testing for mobile and Windows applications, ensuring scalability and reliability.

What Skills & Experience You Should Bring

Education: BE/BTech/ME/MTech/M.S. in Computer Science Engineering or an equivalent degree

Experience: 5-6 years of experience in QA, with a focus on mobile (iOS, Android) and Windows app testing, including at least 2 years in senior QA role.

Test Automation Tools: Experience with test automation tools like Appium, Selenium, or WinAppDriver for mobile and Windows apps.

CI/CD Integration: Knowledge of CI/CD processes and tools like Jenkins, GitLab CI, or Azure DevOps for integrating automated testing.

Agile Methodologies: Strong experience working in Agile development environments, with a solid understanding of Scrum or Kanban practices.

Cross-Platform Testing: Ability to design and execute cross-platform test strategies for applications running on both mobile and Windows devices.

About Your Location

The position offers a hybrid model, with a balance of remote work and on-site presence at our Chennai office. In this hybrid role, you will work with your manager to establish a mutually agreeable schedule based on the position's requirements and business needs. Typically, hybrid positions require 3 days per week, or 60% of the month, in the office. Candidates should expect to be in the office for key meetings, collaboration sessions, and other in-person engagements as required. Travel may occasionally be necessary depending on project needs.
