We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced Lead Software Development Engineer in Test (SDET) specializing in API and Selenium testing. The candidate will be responsible for leading the development of test strategies, ensuring the quality of complex systems, and leading a team of SDETs to deliver high-quality software solutions.

Responsibilities:

Lead and mentor a team of SDETs in developing and executing test plans and test cases.Specialize in API testing and Selenium automation to ensure robust software delivery.Negotiate scope, develop estimates, and manage project plans in collaboration with stakeholders.Monitor testing metrics and provide daily guidance and metrics to both the team and project leadership.Ensure proactive communication with project leadership on project status, issues, and risks.Work closely with development teams to drive testability and ensure quality in the codebase.Design and implement automated testing solutions for regression, integration, and performance testing.Facilitate daily stand-ups, sprint planning, and retrospective meetings in an Agile environment.Establish and deliver the quality strategy for a product based on the ideal blend of automation and manual testingDrive identification, design and delivery for technical solutions (frameworks, tests, API hooks, tools) increasing test effectiveness and coverage, while reducing the cost of test executionProvides guidance to SDETs and Associates. Serves as functional and quality SME on their team. Serves as a functional area SME for EngineeringActs as bridge between the Product team and stakeholders. Identify and escalate potential risks, defects, and bottlenecks in a timely and clear manner with team and stakeholders

Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.Proven experience as an SDET with a focus on API and Selenium test automation.Strong skills in test planning, execution, and reporting with a focus on quality.Experience in negotiating scope and developing project estimates and plans.Proficient in using test management tools and CI/CD pipelines.Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to provide clear guidance and feedback.Familiarity with Agile methodologies and practices.Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities.

Preferred Qualifications:

Master’s degree in Computer Science or related field.Experience with cloud platforms and DevOps practices.Certifications in software testing and quality assurance.

Salary Range:

The base salary range for this position is $109,749 - $164,623, plus incentives that align with individual and company performance. Actual salaries will vary based on work location, qualifications, skills, education, experience, and competencies. Benefits available to eligible employees in this role include medical, dental, and vision insurance, comprehensive employee assistance program, 401(k) retirement plan, paid time off and holidays.
