As a Lead Security Engineer at JPMorgan Chase within the Security Information and Event Management Platform Engineering team, you are an integral part of team that works to deliver software solutions that satisfy pre-defined functional and user requirements with the added dimension of preventing misuse, circumvention, and malicious behavior. As a core technical contributor, you are responsible for carrying out critical technology solutions with tamper-proof, audit defensible methods across multiple technical areas within various business functions.
Job responsibilities
Executes creative security solutions, design, development, and technical troubleshooting with the ability to think beyond routine or conventional approaches to build solutions and break down technical problems. Develops secure and high-quality production code, as well as reviews and debugs code written by others. Define and implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) leveraging automation tooling to deploy third-party security software in an enterprise environment. Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or related disciplines. Skilled in planning, designing, and implementing security analytics platforms (e.g., Splunk or equivalent). Experience using automation to deploy, manage and scale platforms spanning multiple infrastructure environments. Advanced knowledge of one or more programming languages. Proficient in all aspects of the Software Development Life Cycle. Advanced understanding of agile methodologies such as CI/CD, Application Resiliency, and SecurityPreferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills
Experience effectively communicating with senior business leaders. Knowledge of the financial services industry and its IT systems. Experience working within a large-scale or global enterprise.
