Brief Job Overview
Airswift is currently recruiting for a Senior/Lead Piping / Layout Engineer who will be working for a global company, for a major Offshore project in Brazil. The role is based in Paris this residential position starting as a soon as possible, the right candidate will work under the supervision of the project manager. Scope and responsibilities: Reporting to the project management Leader of the discipline for the project Define the arrangement of the installation layout Coordinate the 3D Modelling and organise 3D Model reviews Supervise the Engineer in charge of the handling philosophy Supervise the Piping Stress studies Supervise the Materials selection Organise and validate the Vessel calculation studies and check the Data sheets Prepare all documentation related with the project scope (refer to typical deliverable list) Must be autonomous
Will be charge of: Project planning and progress follow-up Organisation of the meetings with client and internal Interactions with client and the project management Coordination multi disciplines: Safety for Escape route design Mechanical for Handling E&I for Cable routing Structural for supporting  
Typical deliverable list Piping Design Basis Piping Material Classes Valve Selection Philosophy Piping Isometrics 3D Model Procedure 3D Model Progress Reports Plot Plans (Overall, Elevations, General Arrangement drawings etc…) Specifications, Data Sheets, Requisitions and TBEs for: Piping material Manual Valves Piping Special Items Pressure Vessels PIG Launcher / Receiver Flare Package Corrosion inhibitor package Methanol Package Bulk etc… Piping Standards Pipe Support Standard MTOs for Piping, Supports and Valves Site Survey SOW Experience and Knowledge: A degree within similar field Standards: Applicable regulations, codes of practice, international standards Model:  3D modelling follow-up and 3D Model supervision with PDMS & Navisworks Minimum of 10 years of experience in the Oil & Gas Offshore FEED projects.
