Your Role
As the most senior product owner in the domain, you will be accountable for the performance and outcomes of the domain. You will drive adoption and maturity of digital-first ways of working; bringing a deep “engineers of everything” mindset and leading this mindset in a product-platform construct. You will be accountable for setting OKRs for all squads in the domain and for providing hands-on guidance to the POs to prioritize and execute towards fulfilment of those OKRs.

Your Responsibilities

Drive end-to-end development of digital solutions for their domain to deliver Chubb’s underwriting craftsmanship and expertise via a product-platform model
Provide inputs to ensure product roadmaps are in line with business strategy Accountable for the success of both “change” and “run” aspects of the domain, and for continuous prioritization between change and run to optimize business outcomes Lead quarterly business reviews (QBRs) for integrated planning, prioritization, resource allocation, and to shape the OKRs for the squads in their domain Build a collaborative and high-performing team through role modelling, coaching, leadership, and mentorship of SDLs and POs in the domain Manage dependencies and actively remove any blockers across squads within the domain or across sub-domains Keep a pulse on the business and identify opportunities for improvement and innovation for the domain Manage the domain budget and guide the overall direction of the domain including all strategic decision-making, resource allocation across squads, and upholding work product quality standards

Your Skills & Experience

Background in business, computer science, customer experience, or technology- MS/BS degree in software development, IT, product management, finance, business, economics, insurance or risk management;
And or/15+ years of professional experience as a product owner or business transformation executive (in an insurance company or in an insurtech)Strong leadership and influencing skills: drive stakeholders and the teams towards a vision; ability to influence at all levels - from senior leadership to the working teamStrong communication skills including translating business strategy to clear and measurable domain and Squad level OKRs Outcome and results orientation: focus on business outcomes, data and insights, and commitment to continuous improvement; a proactive and ‘can do’ attitudeExecutive ownership and influence: ability to effectively take ownership of responsibilities outside of immediate sphere of influence (e.g., stakeholder management across levels and functions)Deep domain-specific knowledge with a focus on customer experience, digital solutions, and data-enabled decision making; demonstrated expertise in insurance industry-specific topics (e.g., underwriting, claims, product)Financial and P&L ownership: demonstrated track record of tying large-scale business efforts to measurable outcomes Demonstrated end-to-end product lifecycle management expertise, preferably in an insurance industry settingRobust working knowledge in technical aspects of product development, including solution design, SDLC management, agile principles and programming concepts
