Responsible for driving service activities (Installation, Calibration, Serviceability, PM) for MR products
Works closely with cross-functional teams, service operations, product definition, LSDs, Principle Engineers & Architects to define a strategy to develop effective service requirements by having a clear understanding of customer needs and business priorities, then driving the translation of those into technical specifications & product design
Driving technical solutions and program leadership to improve the product, process, or technology
Identify opportunities for quality and productivity improvements and drive design and implementation to address those opportunities.
Ensuring that the product development process abides to the business Engineering Quality Procedures, Phased Review Discipline and regulatory needs of the applicable markets
Working with the system, subsystem/platform and service leadership teams to deliver quality products on time, within budget and with the necessary features
Planning resources and materials for timely NPI program execution
Defining procedures for field modifications, calibrations, and part replacements
Owning system requirements related to install, calibration, serviceability and PM’s
Setting FRU strategies and interfacing with external organizations such as GPRS and Service Operations
Interface with field personal such as OLEs and RSEs to gather feedback on serviceability and channel those to NPIs as requirements working with Service Architect
QualificationsBachelor's Degree in Engineering/Science
4 years experience in project leadership or driving new product introduction
Experience working in cross-functional relationships, strong influential and communication skills
Demonstrated understanding/experience with the New Product Introduction (NPI) cycle
Demonstrated technical depth with problem-solving techniques.
Demonstrated organizational, functional, and leadership expertise to lead teams on a project, sub-system or platform initiative
Desired QualificationsExtended experience in a Service, Hardware and/or Systems, previous service engineering positions
Exposure to Imaging hardware/software/coils/applications/system engineering.
Experience with MR scanner operation, design and troubleshooting
Hands-on approach with regards to installations, upgrades and repairs
Design for Reliability (DFR) or Design For Service (DFS) experience
Demonstrated experience with quality and regulatory compliance processes
Global / multi-site project experience
