Essential Responsibilities

Responsible for performing on site commissioning, maintenance, repairs, refurbishment and troubleshooting of HV/MV electrical substations apparatusPerform Testing, Commissioning, and maintenance of LV AC/DC systems (distribution panels, Batteries, battery charger, Inverter…)Includes all types of maintenance service (preventive and remedial), manage maintenance facilities and field services engineeringManage and help Worker’s customer and/or switch on the site (LOTO)Prepare progress reports, test results, non-compliance reportAnnotating and editing drawings 'as built'Participate in the drafting of technical proceduresSubmit to external customers and internal technical documentation necessary for operation and maintenance of equipment. Provide information supplements as neededResponsible for EHS site team complianceTechnical assistance to our sales specialist during customer visitsDouble testing set as M4 and TDROmicron testing set as CT analyzerDilo gas recovery

 

Required Qualifications

 Bachelor's or Technical degree in electrical engineering with specialization in Electrical Substation or HV/MV apparatus or electrical engineeringMinimum 7 years of field experience in Electrical SubstationAbility and willingness to travel up to 80% of the timeHave legal authorization to work in Canada.
