Marketing Lead Specialist, Government and Public Sector

Work you’ll do

The Social Media  Marketing Lead Specialist will support the Government and Public Services (GPS) industry practice and have responsibility for thought leadership projects across our portfolio of business. The Marketing Specialist will work closely with the GPS marketing team and GPS leadership to differentiate the Deloitte brand, drive Deloitte’s business priorities forward, deliver innovative social media marketing strategies, and work side by side with GPS leadership. This role will report to a GPS Marketing Manager or Senior Manager. Specific areas of focus include:

 

Content/Thought Leadership marketing: Develop and execute social media marketing campaigns to promote business, industry and leadership insights and position Deloitte’s leaders as experts in their fieldsSocial Media Strategy: Creation and implementation of full social media plans for Deloitte’s leaders to build awareness of Deloitte’s GPS practice in the marketProject Management: Assist in the development, maintenance, and execution of GPS thought leadership marketing campaignsWriting: Comfort with drafting LinkedIn copy for multiple leaders that is true to each leader’s persona and voice to clearly articulateContent Development: Assist in the developing and editing of social media content for consistent messaging and clear voiceImpact Reporting: Gathers ROI data for use in executive-level reports, focusing on data storytelling, including how the data will inform future content and the overall impact of social media leader marketing on GPS growth and brand positioningPresentation Skills: Preparing and presenting monthly content calendars/results to managers and stakeholders

Qualifications

 

Bachelor’s degree required (Business, Marketing or Communications preferred)6+ year of post-college marketing and communications career experienceExperience with managing social media channels to reach business goalsExperience with content marketing techniques; audience segmentation, personasMarketing & Communications Fundamentals: Experienced understanding of marketing and communications basics to drive business goalsAbility to travel 10%, on average, based on the work you do and the clients and industries/sectors you serveExcellent spoken, written communication, interpersonal, and relationship building skills.Ability to work in a multi-layered matrix organization serving many leaders.Must be legally authorized to working in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship, now or at any time in the future.Preferred Skills:
Experience working within the government professional services marketExperience with social media analytics toolsOrganized with ability to prioritize and manage client expectations across multiple, competing projects/priorities with aggressive due dates and quick turn-around timesStrong team player with the ability to work in a matrixed organization with a virtual teamProficiency in MS Office Products including Word, Excel and PowerPoint

 

The wage range for this role takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training; licensure and certifications; and other business and organizational needs. The disclosed range estimate has not been adjusted for the applicable geographic differential associated with the location at which the position may be filled. At Deloitte, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range is $88,800 to $133,900.
