Job Summary
Contribute the low latency live streaming related R&D tasks. The scope includes but is not limited to investigate the lower latency techniques and protocols, implement lower latency player support, collaborate with peers to build up an end-to-end low latency framework.Participate in the client side development and implementation of LL-HLS, WebRTC, or HESP.Develop the next generation of video players and adapt them for new platforms.Enhance and optimize player performance.Drive excellence in engineering practices by implementing design patterns, CI/CD pipelines, thorough code reviews, and robust automated testing.Requirement
Basic Qualifications
Hands-on experience with video playback technology on Web or Android.Familiarity with at least one of the following programming languages: JavaScript, C/C++Strong interest in cross-platform development and a passion for multimedia solutions.Preferred Qualifications
Practical experience with streaming protocols, for example HLS/DASH/WebRTC.Familiarity with one popular open-sourced player, such as ExoPlayer or shaka-player.Knowledge of multimedia systems (e.g. video formats, encoders/decoders)Experience with
