About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled Lead Linux Driver Engineer with extensive experience in developing and maintaining Linux drivers, particularly on the Broadcom platform. The ideal candidate will have over 10 years of experience in the field and a proven track record of leading engineering teams to deliver high-quality software solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

Driver Development: Design, develop, and maintain Linux device drivers for Broadcom hardware platforms.Team Leadership: Lead a team of engineers, providing technical guidance, mentorship, and support.Collaboration: Work closely with hardware engineers, system architects, and other software engineers to ensure seamless integration of drivers with hardware and software systems.Performance Optimization: Optimize driver performance and reliability, ensuring high efficiency and low latency.Troubleshooting: Diagnose and resolve complex issues related to driver functionality and performance.Documentation: Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for driver development processes, code, and system configurations.Code Review: Conduct code reviews to ensure adherence to best practices and coding standards.Project Management: Manage project timelines, deliverables, and resources to ensure successful project completion.

Qualifications:

Experience: Over 10 years of experience in Linux driver development, with a strong focus on Broadcom platforms.Technical Skills: Proficiency in C/C++ programming, Linux kernel development, and debugging tools.Broadcom Expertise: In-depth knowledge of Broadcom hardware, including networking and storage solutions.Leadership: Proven experience in leading engineering teams and managing complex projects.Problem-Solving: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues efficiently.Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to convey technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.Education: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience with CI/CD pipelines and automation tools.Familiarity with open-source development and contribution.Knowledge of security best practices in driver development.
