As a Lead Software Engineer at JPMorgan Chase within the Secure Insight team, you will have the opportunity to impact your career and push the limits of what's possible. You will be responsible for executing creative software solutions, developing secure high-quality production code, and leading evaluation sessions with external vendors, startups, and internal teams. You will also act as a coach and mentor to team members on their assigned project tasks. Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills

Formal training or certification on software engineering concepts and 5+ years applied experienceExperience with AWS enterprise implementations including Redshift, S3, EC2, Data Pipeline, & EMRHands-on experience in working with SPARK and handling terabyte size datasetsProgramming Experience in Java Development and/or expereince of Python experienceExperience in implementing complex ETL transformations on big data platform like NoSQL databases (Mongo, DynamoDB, Cassandra)Hands-on practical experience delivering system design, application development, testing, and operational stabilityAdvanced in one or more programming language(s)Proficiency in automation and continuous delivery methodsIn-depth knowledge of the financial services industry and their IT systemsPractical cloud native experiencePreferred qualifications, capabilities, and skillsAnalyze, design and code business-related solutions, as well as core architectural changes, using an Agile programming approach resulting in software delivered on time and in budgetComfortable learning cutting edge technologies and applications to greenfield project
