Lead Software Engineer- Fusion Analytics Warehouse

Your Impact
The primary purpose of this role is to provide consultation and technical direction on translating business requirements and functional specifications into logical program designs. This includes facilitating the implementation and maintenance of complex business and enterprise software solutions to ensure successful deployment of released applications. This role serves as a technical expert for project teams throughout the implementation and maintenance of business and enterprise software solutions. In addition, this role personally develops and delivers code modules, stable application systems, and integrated enterprise software solutions within various computing environments.

Key Responsibilities:

Oracle Analytics and Data Warehousing:

Solid understanding of Oracle's analytics offerings including Fusion Analytics Warehouse (FAW), Oracle Analytics Cloud (OAC), and Autonomous Data Warehouse (ADW).

3+ years of experience in development and maintenance of Oracle Fusion Analytics Warehouse components.

Expertise in building data models, reports, and dashboards, managing data models, data pipelines, and performing customizations.

Proficiency in developing PL/SQL packages, procedures, and functions for custom ETL packages.

Technical Expertise:

In-depth knowledge of FAW - ERP Financials, Projects, and Procurement implementations and customizations, including data migrations, integrations, and custom development.

Experience in creating Workbooks in OAC and supporting data model changes and semantic model extensions.

Managing users, groups, application roles, and data access in the FAW environment, customizing as per business needs.

Understanding of Oracle quarterly FAW release testing in synchronization with ERP releases.

Enabling FAW augmentation to support custom ETL and data integration with other data platforms.

Data Warehousing and Reporting:

Strong technical background in data warehousing and reporting concepts, including data modeling, ETL processes, and data integration.

Proficiency in Oracle Fusion Middleware, Oracle Transactional Business Intelligence (OTBI), and Oracle Business Intelligence Publisher (BIP) is a plus.

Functional understanding of Oracle Fusion Applications (ERP and EPM modules).

General IT Experience:

Experience developing and implementing business systems within an organization.

Experience working with defect or incident tracking software.

Experience writing technical documentation in a software development environment.


Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications
• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, CIS, or related field (or equivalent work experience in a related field)
• 7 years of experience in software development or a related field  
• 6 years of experience in database technologies
• 6 years of experience working on project(s) involving the implementation of solutions applying development life cycles (SDLC)


Preferred Qualifications
• Master's Degree in Computer Science, CIS, or related field

• Good understanding of performance of the database queries, data pipelines, and system resources. Identify and address performance bottlenecks and optimization opportunities.•
• 4 years of experience working with an IT Infrastructure Library (ITIL) framework
• 4 years of experience leading teams, with or without direct reports
• 6 years of experience working with source code control systems
• Experience working with Continuous Integration/ Continuous Deployment tools
• 6 years of experience in systems analysis, including defining technical requirements and performing high level design for complex solutions

Pay Range: $111,600.00 - $212,000.00 annually
