About The Job:

This position will serve as the Functional Analyst/Systems engineer for Finance, Tax and Treasury applications. 

This position will be responsible for defining and maintaining the architectural roadmap that aligns with our strategic goals. Also, this position will continuously evaluate new and emerging technologies to determine their potential impact on the organization and recommend the adoption to enhance business processes and improve efficiency. Will also be responsible for translating the core architecture into the final technical solution through functional, performance, and reliability analysis using engineering models and techniques. The Systems Engineer would also be expected to be the liaison for communications between the Technical Team and the business stakeholders. 

Requirements:

5-8 years experienceRequirement Analysis: Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and analyze business requirements. Conduct workshops and interviews to understand the current processes and desired outcomes.Solution Design: Design software solutions that meet business requirements. Translate business requirements into system configurations and design solutions within the chosen software platform, considering technical feasibility and best practices. Develop functional and technical specifications, including data models, workflows, and user interfaces. Collaborate with developers to design and implement custom functionalities, integrations with other systems, and data migration strategies. Development Oversight: Work closely with development teams to ensure the solution is built according to specifications. Provide guidance and support during the development process, including code reviews and troubleshooting. Ability to integrate various systems and technologies to ensure seamless operationDocumentation: Maintain comprehensive documentation of system architecture, design decisions etc.

Tools and Technology

Proficiency in programming languages such as Java, C#, .Net or Python.Experience with databases such as SQL Server, Oracle, or MySQL, Snowflake.Knowledge of software development methodologies (Agile, Waterfall, etc.).Knowledge of cloud computing, SaaS applications, and enterprise integration patterns.

Soft Skills

Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.Strong communication and interpersonal skills.Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and manage multiple priorities.

Education:

Preferred bachelor’s degree in finance, Business, Information Systems, Engineering, Math, or Sciences or equivalent experience.

Our Lead Software Engineering, earns between $128,400.00-$192,600.00 USD Annual, not to mention all the other amazing rewards that working at AT&T offers. Individual starting salary within this range may depend on geography, experience, expertise, and education/training.
