Job Description

Q2 is seeking a Lead Solution Architect who will be responsible for implementing Q2’s Ebanking Solutions in order to align with the business requirements of our customers.  You will be exposed to a highly customizable product on multiple platforms that are configured/engineered differently for each customer.  Must be exceptionally detail-oriented, an energetic self-starter who can work independently and in a group setting.  This work is performed out of our Implementations Solution Center in Bangalore, India and does not require travel.

Key Responsibilities

Solution Design & Implementation

   •       Analyze business requirements to design robust, scalable, and cost-effective technical solutions tailored to client needs.

   •       Develop and implement end-to-end architectures, including system integrations, APIs, and workflows.

   •       Drive cloud technology migration projects, ensuring optimal resource utilization and performance.

   •       Identify system inefficiencies and design innovative solutions to improve deployment, monitoring, and scaling.

Stakeholder Collaboration

   •       Collaborate with clients, business analysts, and project managers to understand business objectives and requirements.

   •       Communicate complex technical solutions in a clear, non-technical manner to stakeholders.

   •       Partner with cross-functional teams, including development, to ensure quality, timely delivery, and client satisfaction.

Governance & Best Practices

   •       Define, document, and enforce best practices for system architecture, design, and integration.

   •       Ensure all solutions adhere to security, availability, confidentiality, and privacy standards.

   •       Develop and lead quality assurance checkpoints and execution plans to maintain high standards of delivery.

Technology Evaluation & Process Innovation

   •       Evaluate emerging technologies to recommend tools and platforms that enhance efficiency and scalability.

   •       Design and implement new processes and solutions to streamline system configuration and deployment.

Support & Troubleshooting

   •       Provide Level 2 and Level 3 support to resolve complex technical challenges during implementation.

   •       Offer hands-on guidance for database configuration, debugging, and performance tuning.

• 12+ years of experience in Solution Architecture, preferably in the FinTech domain.

   •       Proven expertise in implementing SaaS-based enterprise solutions and cloud technology migration (AWS, Azure, or GCP).

   •       Strong MS SQL skills with proficiency in database design, TSQL queries, and enterprise software configuration.

   •       Hands-on experience with system integration methods (APIs, RESTful services) and scripting languages (e.g., Python).

   •       Familiarity with VMware, web services configuration, and enterprise deployment practices.

Skills:

   •       Strong understanding of software architecture patterns (e.g., microservices, serverless).

   •       Proficiency in identifying and resolving system inefficiencies, especially related to deployment, scaling, and monitoring.

   •       Exceptional troubleshooting, diagnostic, and analytical problem-solving skills.

   •       Expertise in designing and documenting new processes to improve implementation quality and efficiency.

   •       Ability to train and mentor team members effectively.

Preferred Qualifications

   •       Professional certifications such as AWS Certified Solutions Architect, TOGAF, or Azure Solutions Architect Expert.

   •       Knowledge of financial services and enterprise software best practices.

   •       Familiarity with mobile platforms (iOS, Android) and data migration methodologies.
