Roles and Responsibilities
Define and document project objectives, requirements, and assumptions necessary to plan and execute capital projects focused on the modification or expansion of existing industrial processes.Uses high level of judgment to interpret internal and external business challenges and recommends best practices to improve products, processes, or services.Manage project deliverables so they complete to forecasted plan.Provide procurement support – procurement strategy, identification of suppliers, coordination of delivery, and storage of hardware/equipment.Oversee installation and execution of assigned projects through continual engagement with engineering, operations, internal trades, and contractors.Identify and manage project risks throughout project lifecycle.Facilitate a regular rhythm of clear project communications with leadership and stakeholders.Engage with plant operators, controls specialists, and maintenance teams to troubleshoot process upsets.Use judgment to make decisions or solve moderately complex tasks or problems in areas of operational/product management and engineering.Required Qualifications
High school diploma / GED with at least 6 years of experience in Quality/Process Engineering or Project Management.Desired Characteristics
Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college.Strong oral and written communication skills.Strong interpersonal and leadership skills.Demonstrated ability to analyze and resolve problems.Demonstrated ability to lead programs / projects.Ability to document, plan, market, and execute programs.Established project management skills.Active US government Secret Security Clearance, preferred with AP approval.This role requires access to U.S. export-controlled information. If applicable, final offers will be contingent on ability to obtain authorization for access to U.S. export-controlled information from the U.S. Government.
