Develops and manages Hospice Spiritual Care program which includes ensuring providing services during the final week/days of the patient. Integrates spiritual care services to enhance psycho-spiritual support for patients and families. Ensures competency and compliance of spiritual care visits with Conditions of Participation and quality delivery of service. Works under general direction. Education: Bachelor's Degree in Humanities or other related fields required. Masters of Divinity or Theology degree required. Certification: Board Certified Chaplain required. Experience: Minimum of five years of experience in hospice and/or palliative care working with terminally ill patients and bereaved families required. Minimum of three years of clinical management experience in a health care setting preferred. Demonstrated communication and counseling skills, and group facilitation skills required. Prior experience designing workshops and facilitating educational programs required. Strong computer skills and proficiency with Microsoft Office (i.e. Word, Excel, and Outlook) required.
