Under the direction of the Manager of Health System Facilities,
service, maintain, repair and/or install major and auxiliary equipment to
control chillers, high-pressure steam boilers, domestic and hydronic hot water
heaters, cooling towers, motors, fans, pumps, controls, hermetic and
semi-hermetic compressors and other specialized HVAC equipment to achieve
maximum performance and efficiency of operation. Inspect and calibrate
operating controls, safety controls and all related auxiliary equipment for
obvious damage, signs of deterioration and need of replacement to ensure safe,
correct, and accurate operation. Prepare accurate written reports and
maintenance records, to include compliance and inspection documentation.
Interact with staff, management, and the campus community in an effective and
diplomatic manner. Perform duties utilizing appropriate safety practices. Other
duties as assigned.
Salary Rate: $54.02/hour
Qualifications
+ Unlimited Los Angeles Stream License
+ Min of 10 years in healthcare and familiar with medical terminology
+ Daily use of Hand tools, gauges, measuring instruments, water treatment test kits.
