Follow Sanitation Safety Procedures and Daily Sanitation Guidelines utilize proper hand washing techniques Provides consistently prompt and courteous service to our customers Good Communication Skills Must be able to train others in same skills Must have food knowledge Understands and anticipates needs of guests Understands and utilizes proper sequence of service Cooperative with fellow employees – will lend a helping hand if needed Maintains station and completes side work Punctual, reliable and adheres to work schedule Conforms to appearance standards set by Eldorado Hotel Casino Meets or exceeds mutually agreed upon goals Knows how to handle customer complaints Knows how to handle VIP’s and has a good memory for repeat guest’s names and preferences The most important attribute of a sushi chef is the ability to prepare Must inventory and evaluate all of the fish for the day and all peripheral sushi-making ingredients. This quality control step is crucial to overall success of the final dish May include writing an order for missing items or checking in an arriving order. PERFORMANCE REQUIREMENTS: Knowledge, Skills & Abilities: Must have the ability to provide our guests with excellent customer service, have excellent communication skills and observation skills, and have an easygoing demeanor to ensure a fun and safe environment for our guests.EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
Education: High school preferred
Experience:1-2 years of sushi chef preferred
Certificate/License: Must have a permit to work in the United States.
