Department Summary:
MITRE National Security (MNS) brings together the full strength of MITRE’s national security work into one integrated organization in support of the Department of Defense (DoD), Intelligence Community (IC), and their partners. MNS helps our sponsors advance a broader vision of national security and address the most pressing challenges facing our country. MNS operates the National Security Engineering Center (NSEC) FFRDC. The MNS Integration & Operations Center leads efficient and effective execution of operations functions within MNS. MNS International works with the US security cooperation enterprise, partners, and allies. We provide systems of systems engineering to improve Joint Integration, coalition interoperability, and lethality for the US with allies and partners, to fight and win in CJADC2 contested environments.
NSEC delivers mission-critical capabilities, promotes enterprise-level solutions, and enhances system interoperability within the DoD and IC and with coalition partners. The Intelligence Center under the NSEC FFRDC mission is to solve the IC sponsor problems through broad operational understanding, deep technical expertise, and an objective view of the technology landscape.
The MITRE Corporation’s All-Domain Integration (ADI) Department (N163) supports development and delivery of integrated, agile mission capabilities that will enable the US and Coalition forces to operate at the speed of relevance. ADI’s focus is to (1) develop joint, all-domain operational concepts; (2) mature these concepts through realizable architectures; and (3) transition the developed capabilities to the warfighter. This involves the near-term modernization of fielded capabilities and development of next generation warfighter operations in all phases of systems evolution: from concept exploration, through experimentation and fielding. N163 is seeking a highly motivated multi-discipline System Engineer who wants to deliver innovative solutions to unique national challenges.
This position is based out of the MITRE McLean, VA office but the majority of the work will be onsite at the sponsor facility located in Fairfax, VA.
