RGP is immediately seeking a Lead ServiceNow Technical Consultant to join our fast-growing ServiceNow Practice team. The resource will be responsible for the successful delivery of ServiceNow's solutions and services, in a client consulting environment.
The Lead Technical Consultant will be responsible to lead project implementations and develop, invest, and maintain thought leadership with deep subject matter expertise related to ServiceNow platform, product capabilities and complimentary technologies in a client-consulting environment including IT Service Management; Customer Service Management, App Engine Applications, Custom ServicePortal, NOW Experience and UI Builder. Lead all technical aspects of the project delivery and solution delivery on the ServiceNow platform including:
Assist Business Process Consultant in workshops to gather agile user stories/epics/featuresDirect customers on industry and ServiceNow best practices across products and platformSolution and Design for Custom App Engine Application DevelopmentApplication UI Configuration and Workflow ConfigurationDevelopment of client specific reporting needs including Performance AnalyticsInterface with ServiceNow technical product teams as neededBe the technical lead member on implementation project teams, directing other developersPrepare all client facing and internal deliverables that are technology relatedDrive the continuous improvements of our implementation methodology and service offerings based on client experiencesSubject Matter Expert on the delivery of ServiceNow solutionsService Catalog structuring and configurationServiceNow Portal and Widget developmentLead Integration projects requiring web services, Integration Hub, Spokes, MID Server configuration and scriptingUI Builder Workspace and Portal Page development and NOW Experience ComponentsCreation and delivery of solutions for customers addressing requirements through technical architecture in consideration of process design and technical best practices and standardsCollaborate and Contribute to the creation, deployment and maintenance of Technical Best Practices and StandardsEnsuring technical deliverables to are complete, consistent, high quality, on time and deliver valued outcomesAchieve ServiceNow Practice and Individual KPI’s and Metrics as definedWhat You Will Bring Minimum 8 years’ demonstrated experience as a key technical resource leading the development of solutions in client environments (Various technical stack experiences)Demonstrated experience in end-to-end development, traditional software engineeringSkilled with JavaScript, Angular.JS, JQuery and/or BootStrap.JS, React, NodeJS, NPMProficiency with web service standards such as SOAP, REST, XML, etc.Proficiency with web API’s, Data integrations/ETL, Relational DatabasesExperience with SaaS / PaaS environments such as AWS, Azure, Google CloudProficiency with modern HTML5/CSS/LESSKnowledge of LDAP, VPN, SSL, SSO and other such technologies and standardsProficiency with how web applications work including security, session management, and best development practices.Experience configuring cloud platforms/applicationsProficiency with Agile project management and delivery methodologiesDegree or equivalent, preferably in Information Technology, Computer Science or Engineering disciplinesDemonstrated experience in technical consulting roles, client facing requiredCertified ServiceNow Administrator and/or Implementation SpecialistMaintain certifications as a CSA and product implementation specialist / work towards micro certifications and continual progression in developer learning plans4+ years of ServiceNow implementation experience in a client consulting environment Consulting SkillsProven team player and team builderQuick learner that can adapt to a fast pace, changing environmentEagerness and a strong desire to expand IT knowledge at an enterprise level, as well as, a willingness to be mentored by other IT consultants.Demonstrated ability to influence and consult (providing options with pros, cons and risks) around all key technical decisions during project deliveryStrong interpersonal skills, customer centric attitude, ability to deal with cultural diversityExcellent oral and written communication skills with the ability to present and explain technical information in an articulate mannerStrong attention to detail and creative problem-solving is an absolute essential skillAbility to understand and interpret business needs and identify appropriate business and technical solutions to meet those needsProven record of successfully managing business relationshipsStrong interest in cloud computing and related technologies including SaaS, PaaS, IaaS.
