Walbridge is growing rapidly in Data Centers (ENR top 10) and has a dynamic opportunity for a Lead Technical Manager to coordinate and manage all activities related to the construction startup and commissioning of the mechanical, electrical, and control systems to meet the customer’s needs.

Location
This position can be based out of any Walbridge office, or you can live in any US city if you are able to travel 100%.
Responsibilities
+ Assist bidding mechanical and electrical trades
+ Manage Equipment Procurement process
+ Develop MEP critical path schedule
+ Coordinate and track critical path construction
+ Track and coordinate equipment deliveries
+ Review mechanical and electrical submittals
+ Work with subcontractors and design team to provide conflict resolution for MEP issues
+ Coordinate and manage the quality control process for MEP systems construction
+ Manage startup and pretesting of mechanical and electrical systems
+ Coordinate and support third party commissioning activities
+ Manage commissioning documentation
Qualifications
+ 4-year engineering degree in appropriate discipline or equivalent combinations of technical training and related experience.
+ Minimum of 8 years extensive experience related to electrical / mechanical discipline. Thorough knowledge of all aspects of construction technology, equipment, materials, methods, required.
+ Capable in leading and scheduling MEP activities.
+ Preconstruction and equipment procurement experience preferred.
+ Ability to accept project assignments that may require extended long term temporary living arrangements or frequent travel to non-local job sites.
