IC Bus has an exciting opportunity for a Lead Technical Program Manager. The Lead Technical Program Manager will report to the Technical Services Manager at Tulsa Bus Plant and will be responsible for management of capital projects and other manufacturing projects.
In this position you will be responsible for feasibility, justification, budgeting, scheduling, and executing capital projects to improve ergonomics, throughput, and quality on an annual basis. You will manage your engineering team to support the production lines to meet daily production goals and improve in safety, quality, cost, delivery, and employee experience.
Responsibilities Managing engineering team members to complete both major and minor projects that improve safety, quality, cost, delivery, and employee experience at the Tulsa bus plant.Accountable for team performance within the discipline/function by managing professionals, coordinating activities, and ensuring results, cost-effectiveness, and staffing efficiency.Frequently interacts with supervisors, customers, and/or functional peer group managers to make strategic decisions to align departmental plans with business objectives based on policies and procedures.Exercises full management authority, including budgeting, scheduling, performance reviews, pay decisions, recruitment, discipline, termination, and other personnel actions.Manages team projects from inception to completion including: feasibility studies, Scope of Work development, budgetary quoting, timeline/schedule development, tracking and adjustment, Capital Appropriations Request drafting and submission, Process Change Approval, vendor selection, spend tracking and adjustment, equipment prove out and installation, process development, equipment reliability planning, asset documentation, and issues resolution.
