Essential Duties and responsibilities

Design, implement, and deploy solutions that are reliable, scalable, and perform at a high-level to meet the needs of our global clients. Following Agile practices and participating in planning, code reviews & sprint demos.Actively participates in architectural discussions and ensures that designs follow the approved architectural patterns.Continually learn about new technologies, generate new ideas and improve the use of technology in the product.Supports production issues with related products. 

Job Qualifications

Education:

Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology, MIS, or related field.

Tasks and responsibilities:Development of new software and adaptation of existing software.Integrate local systems into the international environment.Take a proactive role during backlog-refinement (grooming) sessions on solutions for the requested requirements.Solving incidents.Analyze and improve the (backend) performance.Extradite software and documentation.Planning and reporting on progress in accordance with Agile.Experience:10+ years of experience in the software industryExperience in working in agile teams using modern technologies like Java 11, Spring and different kind of datastores.Be able to adopt new technologies and concepts quickly and should always be interested in new upcoming tools and languages.Preferred experience:Frameworks like Spring, CXF, HibernateExperience with ETL systems, content processingTest Frameworks/Tools (JUnit)Atlassian Stack (BitBucket, Confluence, JIRA, Bamboo)Docker, Amazon ECSRDF triple stores / Graph databases, SPARQLAgile: Scrum, Kanban and DevOpsXSLT (nice-to-have)Competencies:Strong collaboration and listening skillsExcellent communication skills in English, both written and verbalAbility to work in a distributed, international, multicultural environmentResponsive and flexible in handling critical support issues whenever they occurStrong analytical skills.
