POSITION SUMMARY:
As directed by the Supervisor, Surveillance Technology, the Lead Technician, Surveillance is responsible for the installation and maintenance of CCTV equipment allocated to support Security, Surveillance and Gaming Operations within the Casino environment. This position takes responsibility for provision of training; support and guidance to less experienced Technicians, Surveillance and as required, will act in the role of Supervisor, Surveillance Technology.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Equipment Installation
• Install new CCTV/SAC and electronic equipment.
• Installation of electronic cabling systems; primarily coaxial, data and power cables throughout complex as required.
• Installation and termination of above to a high standard.
• Apply appropriate testing to newly installed equipment to ensure sound functionality
2. Equipment Servicing, Fault Finding and Repairs
• Conduct scheduled preventative maintenance to all CCTV/SAC equipment used to support Security, Surveillance, Gaming Operations and government authorities.
• Employ effective fault finding techniques to rectify equipment failure.
• Ensure all repairs including all solder work is conducted properly and is of a superior quality.
3. Equipment Failure Response
• On Call 24/7
• Plan for appropriate response to equipment failure.
• Evaluate and confirm reported failure.
• Instigate repair or rectification of defective equipment.
4. Inventory and Stock Control
• Ensure workshop stock and inventory levels are appropriately maintained and managed.
• Maintain cost effective use of stock and inventory.
5. Leadership and Initiative
• Provide leadership and direction to subordinates.
• Show initiative and involvement in all activities undertaken by the team.
• Undertake additional managerial duties in the absence of the Supervisor, Surveillance Technology.
6. Team Goals and Objectives

Technical/Qualifications and Experience
• Lead Technician, Surveillance must have CCTV industry experience.
• Knowledge with Windows based operating systems and all associated desktop hardware and software.
