Lead Technologist Coordinates the technical operations in areas of resposibility which include General Radiology, Nuclear Medicine/PET, MRI, Ultrasound, CT). Independently performs Imaging procedures according to physician orders, nursing care needs and departmental protocols. Where appropriate, this position requires on-call status on a rotating basis to ensure coverage during off hours. Ensures timely and efficient service by facilitating the activities of the technical staff. Cooperatively works with team members to meet physician and patient care needs. **Position Requirements** : + High School Diploma. + At least 5 years of Technical experience in the area of responsibility + Formal training at an AMA approved school or equivalent. + Demonstrated leadership ability. + Valid registration in area of responsibility is required + Valid IEMA license where applicable. + Valid CPR registration Rush is an equal opportunity employer.
