Responsibilities Empower AI:  As a 100% remote position with 80% travel- Lead Telecommunications Electronics/Network Technician w/ Secret Clearance AND Sec+ AND CCNA certificates, you will provide services related to the extension and upgrade of Wired Local Area Networks and Wireless Local Area Networks (LAN/WLAN) at Medical Treatment Facilities (MTFs) and associated outlying/remote facilities in both CONUS and OCONUS locations. Support to Defense Health Agency (DHA), MTF LAN/WLAN, Survey and Design Reports, LOM (List of Materials), Installation, Integration and Test, Hardware Inventory Reports, Cutover and Closeout Reports, Visio Interconnect Drawings, As-Built Drawings and Post Implementation Documentation, Post Implementation Review, Quality Control of all documents, and formal meetings.

Responsibilities:Lead technical efforts and provide expert consultation in the organizing of telecommunications installations on site.Leads and directs the work of othersOrganizes and assigns responsibilities to subordinates and oversees the successful completion of all assigned tasksManages and supervises personnel involved Performs other related duties as assignedLAN Infrastructure (Requires grounding/bonding of ALL electronics and possibly patch connections to switches, installation of Universal Power Switches).LAN Electronics, switch upgrade and configuration and troubleshooting.WLAN - Infrastructure (Installation of switch equipment, installation of WLAN Access Points and Controllers.)WLAN - Electronics (Configuration of: Access Points, Controllers, Servers) and Server Wireless InformationLAN and WLAN core cutovers at small and large Medical Treatment Facilities Worldwide.Information Assurance (IA) Authentication Testing and Evaluation of installed components.Collection and completion of all required documents.

 

Qualifications Requirements:Cisco CCNP, Juniper JNCIS-ENT Specialist or Professional, or Ruckus RCNI cert., plus experience and proficiency with AirMagnet Pro.CompTIA Security+Must be able to obtain and maintain an Active Secret Clearance - Active Secret highly preferredBachelor of Science Degree in Information Technology or equivalent experience10-15 years Network Administration Experience10-15 years of experience with network routing and switching technology and Network Administration experience.Experience with Cisco, Brocade, Juniper networking and Aruba and Cisco Wireless Controllers.
