Job Title: Lead Software Test Automation Specialist

We are seeking a talented and experienced lead software test automation specialist to join our Engineering’s Quality Assurance team at Trimble in Espoo. The Quality Assurance team is a large and diverse team of experienced professionals working in various software testing activities. With the whole QA function being made up of 40 different test professionals in various locations.

In the Espoo team, we ensure the continuous software development work for our world class 3D modeling and information management solutions. Test automation is the backbone of our continuous quality assurance processes and we are constantly developing and improving our methods. The Espoo team are the subject matter experts for our Structural software when it comes to automation testing. 

What You Will Do:

Design, develop and maintain automated tests for different web services mainly using Robot framework. You will be responsible for leading Tekla Online Services testing team actions. In the future this role could give you possibilities to work for other product areas in test automationImprove testing coverageParticipate in  improving existing test automation tools and processes and also evaluate new tools and ways of  working Innovation and drive for positive changes plays a central part in our work culture. Networking skills and overall curiosity are vital in this role.

What Skills & Experience You Should Bring:

Proven records of being successful in a demanding test automation position including technical leadershipRobot Framework knowledge. We appreciate Selenium and Python knowledge too.Genuine interest to learn our software products, new industry, our tools and methodsAn open mind with positive and flexible attitudeFluent written and spoken EnglishYou have a degree in a suitable area like computer science or other technical area.

Desirable Skills & E:xperience:

Any experience in TeamCity, Bitbucket and Git (or similar).  Any development experience/studies including developer driven unit tests and integration testsAny hands on experience in utilizing Artificial Intelligence tools and technologies

About Your Location:
You will be based in our brand new office in Leppävaara, Espoo. It is only a 5 min walk from Leppävaara train station to our office. We have flexible working hours and a hybrid working model.
