Lead Test Engineer - SECRET Clearance Required - REMOTE

Tundra Federal is seeking a Network Engineer to lead the Qualification and System Acceptance Test activities for an enterprise-wide Air Force IT program. As the Test Lead, this individual will be accountable for all Test plans and documentation, supervise a team of subcontractor Engineers, and provide Subject Matter Expert (SME) support to the Installation and Test teams in the field. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in network architecture, experience in automated testing, regression testing and experience with quality assurance and continuous improvement methodologies.

Responsibilities

Oversee all test activities for the program.

Work closely with the Chief Architect, Deployment Lead and Deployment Engineers to schedule testing, troubleshoot hardware and software issues during testing, and manage resource availability.

Create test related Contract Data Requirements List (CDRL) documents. EX: Test Plans, Test Procedures, Test Reports, Change Control Documents, etc. and maintain these documents based on input from the field.

Coordinate and lead Test Readiness Reviews with the Air Force PMO, base personnel, Engineers, and internal/external leadership.

Provide weekly updates to the Integrated Master Schedule (IMS).

Identify risks and issues, create, and manage mitigation plans.

Act as the single point of contact (SPOC) for the Test workstream and provide escalation support to the internal and external program teams, and leadership.

Collaborate with subcontractors and OEM vendors.

Schedule Test activities with the PMO, local base personnel, and Operations Squadrons.

Coordinate with a team of MBSE Engineers to ensure the network architecture model accurately reflects testing results.

Qualifications

5 years of experience leading Testing for IT programs.

Understanding of Network Infrastructures.

Experience writing CDRLs.

Active Secret clearance.

Desired Qualifications:

Knowledge of Air Force Networks.

Experience testing and operating Hyperconverged Infrastructures (HCI) such as Dell VxRails, SD-WAN, and SASE solutions.
