Lead Testing Engineer-Dayforce Implementation

At Swissport, we are driven by our core values of Show You Care, Do the Right Things and Win as a Team, and we are currently seeking dedicated individuals, who align with these values, to join our team at various locations across the globe.   Job Summary Job Title: Lead Testing Engineer-Dayforce Implementation Type: Contract 6-9 months expected (1099) Location: Remote We are seeking an experienced Lead Testing Engineer with a strong background in HRIS Dayforce implementation and the ability to collaborate effectively with business teams, IT, and implementation consultants. In this role, you will take charge of leading testing initiatives, ensuring end-to-end workflows are thoroughly tested, and guaranteeing smooth system integration. You will be responsible for creating and managing test scripts, as well as ensuring the seamless functionality of Dayforce in our enterprise environment. This position is expected to pay $80,000 - $120,000/annual equivalent. Your activities Key Responsibilities: Lead and manage the testing strategy for Dayforce implementation projects. Develop and track entry and exit criteria for all testing Phase (FAT, UAT, SIT and Parallel testing) Establish test security roles and mapping. Work closely with business teams, IT departments, and implementation consultants to define testing requirements and timelines. Create, manage, and execute test scripts to validate system functionality, integrations, and end-to-end workflows. Ensure testing covers all aspects of system integrations, data flows, and workflows from start to finish. Utilize Jira to manage testing progress, track issues, and coordinate resolutions. Collaborate with business users to support User Acceptance Testing (UAT). Identify, report, and track issues through Jira, working with cross-functional teams to drive solutions. Continuously improve testing processes and ensure testing standards and methodologies are adhered to. Qualifications: Proven experience in Dayforce HCM or payroll implementation testing. Strong expertise in leading end-to-end testing for complex systems. Proficient with Jira for test case management and issue tracking. Demonstrated experience working collaboratively with business teams, IT teams, and external consultants. Strong ability to create and execute test scripts tailored to project requirements. Familiarity with end-to-end workflow testing, ensuring seamless system functionality. Excellent communication and leadership skills, with a proactive approach to problem-solving. Preferred Skills: Experience with other HCM or ERP systems. Dayforce implementation experience. ISTQB certification or other relevant testing qualifications. Travel: Able to travel up to 20-50% to support job responsibilities.
