General Summary
The BY YOUR SIDE Lead Therapy Facilitator position will be responsible for implementing and progressing curriculum in a therapeutic classroom setting on a weekly basis. The Lead Therapy Facilitator will implement curriculum, skill acquisition programs and behavior management protocols under the supervision of the Manager – BYS Academy and in collaboration with Board Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBA).
The Lead Therapy Facilitator is also responsible for completing and delegating routine and day-before preparation to ensure materials are available and activities have been properly set-up (e.g., circle time, play theme, book, craft, gross motor, etc.).
The Lead Therapy Facilitator will act as a therapeutic classroom supervisor. They will lead the group, ensure data is taken, guidelines are followed and supervise during classroom 1:1 (center) time.
When not facilitating in the therapeutic classroom the Lead Therapy Facilitator will act as a Behavior Technician (BT). The BY YOUR SIDE Behavior Technician implements ABA Therapy to children ages 2-21 years old in the center and in-home environments. The ABA Therapist will implement skill acquisition programs and behavior management protocols under the supervision of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA).
The BT will also be responsible for collecting data on target behaviors during sessions. The Lead Therapy Facilitator is also responsible for providing comprehensive ABA Therapy for BY YOUR SIDE clients under the direction of the Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA).
The Lead Therapy Facilitator/BT operates in a professional and clinical environment. The employee may regularly lift and /or move up to 10 pounds, frequently lift and/or move up to 25 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. This position’s hours of work and days vary based on the needs of clients/business. Evening, weekend work and/or overtime may be required, as needed.
Pay: $22.50-$24/hr

Core duties and responsibilities include the following:
Responsible for enforcing standards for ABA Therapy to maintain BY YOUR SIDE’s high quality of care for clients and families.
Direct implementation and progression of curriculum in the therapeutic classroom setting.
Implement curriculum, skill acquisition programs and behavior management protocols.
Meet with Manager – BYS Academy monthly for projects, shopping, organization and training needs.
Complete and delegate routine and day-before preparation to ensure materials are available and activities have been properly set-up (e.g., circle time, play theme, book, craft, gross motor, etc.).
The Lead Therapy Facilitator will act as a therapeutic classroom supervisor. They will lead the group, ensure data is taken, guidelines are followed and supervise during classroom 1:1 (center) time.
Provide individual therapy to clients consistent with treatment plan under the direction of the Board Certified Behavior Analysis (BCBA).
Implement ABA (Applied Behavioral Analysis) programs as prescribed by the Board Certified Behavior Analysis following exact procedures and sequencing plans.
Administer routine assessments as directed by Board Certified Behavior Analysis when they have assured proper training and administration of such tests (i.e., VBMAPP, ABLLS).
Assist in maintain order and safety among the clients in the therapy environment.
Implement behavior management techniques as instructed by Board Certified Behavior Analysis.
Assist other personnel with related tasks as may be required for the purpose of supporting them in completion of their work activities and for the enhancement of daily operations of the therapy center.
Attend and participate in staff meetings and training provided at enter to increase professional knowledge.
Completion of daily activities/routines within the center (i.e., opening/closing procedures, cleaning,
organization and creation of material, answering radio calls, etc).
Collect data and write insurance note at the end of each session.
Maintaining timely professional documentation of clinical notes for direct patient care provided; as well as targeted caseload hours of therapy per week.

Skills Required
Bachelor's degree and/or enrolled in psychology, communication disorders, education or related field preferred.
Minimum of (1) year experience conducting ABA Therapy and/or Paraprofessional Teaching.
High interest in working with children on the autism spectrum.
Ability to maintain quality, safety and infection control standards.
Knowledge of sensory and behavioral strategies, preferred.
Must be able to communicate effectively and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work effectively and efficiently with changing priorities and deadlines.
Excellent time management skills with the ability to multi-task, prioritize, execute on deadlines and produce high quality deliverables with attention to details.
Must be a quick learner and tech savvy.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Products, Word, Excel and Outlook.
