Chevron is accepting online applications for the position of **Lead Trader** located in **Duo Tower, Singapore** through **31st October 2025** at 11:59 p.m. (Singapore Time).

The Trader will be responsible for developing and executing trading strategies to maximize value through the monetization of Chevron’s equity crude production and third-party trading opportunities across the Middle East and Asia Pacific markets. The Trader will also play an integral part in the Global Sour Crude trading team, focusing on supporting trading growth and optimizing crude flows to and from key market centers.
**Responsibilities for this position may include but are not limited to:**
+ Create and implement trading strategies that leverage Chevron’s asset flows and third-party opportunities.
+ Monetize equity crude production and capitalize on arbitrage opportunities within and out of Middle East and APAC markets.
+ Develop new business opportunities to supplement existing deal flows and manage trading relationships.
+ Apply strong analytical skills to develop, evaluate, and execute strategies for optimal crude grade movement.
+ Utilize market intelligence and relationships to execute spot and term trades and maximize netback realization.
+ Monitor deal profitability, manage risk (pricing, logistics, regulatory), and ensure compliance with trading procedures and controls.
+ Collaborate globally, exhibiting strong teamwork behaviors, to align trading strategies with supply and demand trends.
**Required Qualifications:**
+ Bachelor’s degree holder
+ With at least 2 years’ experience in arbitrage, marine flow, or international in sour and/or sweet crude trading.
+ Demonstrated understanding of market fundamentals, effective position management, and the ability to accurately identify market trends and execute trades at optimal times.
+ Proactive in generating trading ideas and identifying actions to deliver results.
+ Strong comprehensive knowledge of trading risks and compliance.
+ Demonstrated ability to analyze crude properties, transportation logistics, and trading economics to support business objectives through optimized trading strategies.
+ Understanding of crude oil pricing and exposure management.
+ Skilled at engaging with diverse individuals, including the Global Crude Supply and Trading Leadership Team. Strong teamwork, solution-oriented mindset, and recognition of others’ contributions.
+ Resourceful in overcoming challenges, managing entry and exit strategies to mitigate losses, and keeping stakeholders informed of progress.
**Relocation Options:**
+ Relocation will not be considered within Chevron parameters.
**International Considerations:**
+ Selected candidate will work in Singapore under the local payroll system and benefits.
