What will you do?   

Our company seeks a Lead Training Coordinator responsible for providing Onboarding and Continuous Learning for employees working at the Schantz Road and Nestle Way locations including Operations and Supply Chain employees.  The individual will deploy training modules in both classroom and production environment settings and assist QSMEs (Qualified Subject Matter Experts) with OJT (on the job training) to complete Task Competency Assessments (TCAs).  They will instruct in current Good Manufacturing Principles (cGMPs) and demonstrate and promote the company vision of the 4 I’s. Work independently or as a part of a team in the completion of assigned tasks, often without constant supervision.  They will provide support for multiple departments to establish course content and training objectives. They will serve as a role model leader, mentor, and guide and perform periodic GEMBA walks. 

Education:

Bachelor’s Degree in Education / Adult training and/or 2-5 years’ in a pharmaceutical and/or cGMP environment.

Responsibilities:

Demonstrates and promotes the 4 I’s – Intensity, Integrity, Innovation and InvolvementFollows all safety regulations and conducts all activities in a safe, efficient manner.Provides Onboarding Training and Continuous Learning and assists QSMEs with OJT and TCA completion.Applies cGMPs in all areas of responsibilityReview employee training records, provides reports, and helps to achieve 100% complianceSupports Management to spread the PPI (Practical Process Improvement) MethodologyConducts new employee Onboarding tours and other non-audit tour requestsOther duties may be assigned to meet business needs

Knowledge, Skills, Abilities

Able to read and thoroughly understand process specific and technical proceduresDetailed knowledge and understanding of Operation’s or Supply Chain Processes and ProceduresPossess a keen attention to detailAble to comfortably explain processes to new employees up to all levels of managementComfortable enforcing process compliance and adherence to site/department policiesPossess sound training and coaching skills.Able to communicate complicated procedures in an easily understood mannerCareer track and/or accomplishments should demonstrate a passion/successful track record of trainingMust maintain high ethical standards to support a professional business code of conduct.The ability to interact positively with a variety of skills and experience levelsExperience preparing training materials (e.g. – PowerPoint, e-learning, Virtual Reality) and performing training for large groups of hourly technicians (new and veteran), as well as, individual mentoring.Individual needs to be able to carry the basic office equipment commonly used in this role, such as a laptop computer, projector, easel, training material, and up to a 50lb etc.Ability to coach and facilitate teamsQSME trained and/or QMT certified preferredProblem-solving and analysis skills preferredPublic speaking / presentation skills preferredExperience in cGMP Clinical Pharmaceutical packaging preferredProficiency in skills required to read, understand, and instruct the SOPs and policies of a GMP environment.
