Job summary
Be responsible to design menus UX design (wireframes, layout & info presentations, navigation & usability functions, menus structure hierarchy and flow) for new or revamped systems, and to design their UI visuals skins and create their assets with UI artist
Role and Responsibilities:
Collaborate with the Creative Director to execute their vision for game UI and overall player experience.Lead the design and implementation of game menus, user interfaces, and overall player experience (UX/UI).Define and propose the best user experience aligning with game designers’ needs and the Creative Director’s vision.Oversee UI asset creation, including mockups, and coordinate with artists.Lead the UX/UI team of designers and artists.Maintain design documentation (e.g., wireframes, flowcharts, guidelines, etc.).Guide the creation of in-game assets (e.g., backgrounds, banners, promotional art).Prototype and design layout, navigation, usability, animations, and VFX.Participate in playtests to refine UX based on player behavior and feedback.Ensure consistent UX/UI experience across all platforms and devices.Follow up on UI implementation to ensure proper execution and meet design expectations.Collaborate with other dev teams (e.g., content design, system design, art and animation, gameplay programming) to ensure optimal design execution.Set and share best practices for design, workflows, and tooling to optimize quality, performance, and asset pipelines.Contribute to bug fixes, system optimization, and advocate for reworks when necessary.QualificationsPassionate about gaming with deep knowledge of RPG and F2P/GaaS genres.Extensive experience (5+ years) as a Lead UX/UI designer, especially in F2P RPG or MMORPG development.Strong graphic design background with skills in composition, color theory, and artistic sensitivity.Proficient in graphic design tools (e.g., Photoshop, Illustrator, Figma) and prototyping tools.Experienced in animation tools like After Effects and Flash.In-depth knowledge of mobile UI/UX best practices and information architecture.Ability to lead, mobilize, and develop a team of UI/UX designers and artists.Ability to communicate complex game information clearly through smart UX/UI designs.Strong team collaboration skills, working with designers and developers to ensure the best user experience.Detail-oriented with high standards for quality in daily work.Fluent in English.Familiar with Unreal Engine, Unity, or mobile platform development.Knowledge of The Division IP is a plusAdditional InformationUbisoft's perks (for a position based in Saint-Mandé)
