In this Lead UX Researcher role , you’ll work in partnership with product designers and product managers as we improve existing products and introduce new ones. You will receive mentorship from full-time user researchers. The right fit is someone who is naturally curious and inquisitive and has a solid knowledge of user-centered design practices and user research methodologies.
If you are great at solving problems, a hard worker, and an outstanding teammate, you may be the Lead UX Researcher that we are looking for. You will focus on working with designers and product managers in our Ecosystem domain and conduct a variety of qualitative and quantitative studies.
The Day to Day:
Work closely with your product design and product management partners to identify customer problems and develop solutions
Conduct moderated and unmoderated research including usability testing, concept testing, interviews, surveys, card sorts, and heuristic evaluations
Support the growth and maturity of the UX research practice within both the team and broader company
Key Responsibilities:
User Research Planning & Execution:
Design, plan, and conduct user research studies using both qualitative (e.g., interviews, field studies, usability tests) and quantitative (e.g., surveys, analytics) methodologies
Collaborate with product and design teams to define appropriate research plans
Data Collection & Analysis:
Gather insights on user behaviors across multiple dimensions, including geography, device type (mobile, tablet, desktop), customer segments, and traffic channels
Analyze and synthesize findings from various data sources to extract actionable insights
Monitor user adoption, retention, and feature performance post-launch to measure impact
Stakeholder Communication:
Summarise research findings into compelling narratives and presentations tailored for cross-functional stakeholders
Translate insights into design and product recommendations that support strategic decisions
Participate in product ideation sessions, contributing a user-first perspective
Cross-Functional Collaboration:
Partner closely with UX/UI designers, product managers, data analysts, and engineers throughout the product lifecycle
Support teams by testing new features, running focus groups, and conducting pilot programs
Continuous Improvement:
Advocate for user-centered design practices and help mature the research discipline within the organization
Stay current with industry trends, best practices, and emerging tools or methodologies
Qualifications:
8+ years of experience conducting UX research in a professional setting
Proficiency in designing and executing qualitative research studies
Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Nice-to-have:
Experience working in agile product teams
Experience with tools such as Dovetail, Great Question, SurveyMonkey
Knowledge of behavioral data analysis and visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI)
