Lead Vascular Sonographer

Full-Time I First Shift (7:30a-4pm)

Cardiovascular Lab I Lexington, KY

The Noninvasive Lab is a specialized department within a healthcare facility dedicated to performing diagnostic tests and procedures that do not require breaking the skin or entering the body. This unit plays a crucial role in assessing and diagnosing a variety of medical conditions, particularly those related to cardiovascular, pulmonary, and vascular systems.

Description:

Assist Cardiovascular Lab Coordinator with the appropriate patient care management and adjusting the daily operations to meet the needs of the changing working environment in the Cardiovascular Lab of Non-Invasive CardiologyAssist Areas of Echocardiography and Vascular UltrasoundStrong expertise in the clinical applications in Echo and/or VascularAct as a technical resource for other staff and will assist in overseeing training of staffPerform Echo and/or Vascular related procedures within scope of boards certifications, computer processing and related techniques, and producing images for the interpretation by or at the request of a license independent practitionerWorks with Electronic Health Record (EHR) team, Director of Non-Invasive Cardiovascular Services on changes/needs for the (EHR)Keeps all licenses for facility current and maintains compliance with all standards.Assists Echo Medical Director and Echo Vascular Coordinator with writing policy and procedures for new procedures

Requirements:

Associate degreeCertified through American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers (ARDMS) or Cardiovascular Credentialing CCI or an associate’s degree of an Ultrasound ProgramMinimum of 3 years related work experiencePatient Care or Leadership experience preferred.Life Support Training or Certification (ACLS, BLS, PALS, etc.)
