The Role
In this varied role, you'll undertake a range of onshore and offshore verification assessments, including 6-12 weeks per year of offshore work. You'll be paid overtime and a disturbance allowance for your offshore work.
As a Lead Engineer, this position represents a natural step up from an Engineer role and serves as a key development stage before progressing to a Senior Engineer position. This role is ideal for professionals who are ready to take on greater responsibilities and refine their leadership and technical skills.
Key responsibilities include:
Conduct ongoing onshore and offshore examinations and assessments for various offshore installations such as FPSOs, platforms, semi-submersibles, subsea, and onshore terminals. Perform surveys, examinations, maintenance/inspection reviews, and technical audits onshore and offshore against Performance Standards, International Standards, or Client Specifications. Assist in the development and/or implementation of Verification Schemes in accordance with UK legislation. Peer review, supervise, or audit work and reports completed by other engineers. Act as a mentor to less experienced engineers and new employees. If required, act as a focal point for clients or lead a team of engineer, report on budgets and progress statistics.The Requirements
