The Role: Lead Videographer

 In this exciting and creative Lead Videographer role, you will be at the forefront of shaping British Airways’ global in-house video and photography production team driving innovation and setting new standards for brand storytelling.

What You’ll Do:

Lead a high-performing team of videographers and editors, fostering a culture of creativity and technical excellence.Oversee the end-to-end production process, from concept development to final delivery, ensuring consistently high-quality output.Champion innovative content creation, developing strategies for omni-channel media that support our business objectives.Act as the authority on video and audio production, providing expert guidance on storytelling and creative direction.  Collaborate with the Design Lead to develop strategies that bring our brand vision to life.Build and manage a robust network of external creative agency partners and suppliers, ensuring reliable and responsive support.Direct the governance of audio and video application across teams, ensuring alignment with BA’s tone of voice principles.Analyse performance metrics to drive continuous improvement in content impact and effectiveness.

What You’ll Bring to British Airways:

A passion for leading and mentoring creative teams, with a track record of building dynamic, collaborative environments, able to inspire and influence across all levels of the organisation.Expertise in video production, including lighting techniques and directing talent and crew, Strong analytical skills and the ability to leverage data insights for creative decision-making.Exceptional stakeholder management capabilities, building lasting relationships and aligning diverse objectives.An innovative and adaptable mindset, ready to tackle challenges and deliver exceptional results.

Your Experience:

Extensive experience in delivering outstanding content, supported by a strong portfolio of conceptual work and integrated campaigns.Proven experience in lighting and directing for different shoot setups, i.e.  food, interiors and lifestyleProficiency in Adobe Creative Cloud, with advanced Premiere Pro skills.Proven leadership experience, including managing creative teams and directing external agencies.Expertise in resource and project management, with a strategic mindset and ability to see the bigger picture.Proficiency in Adobe Workfront is desirable.
