Job Responsibilities:
As a Lead VVER Engineer you will:
Be the first point of customer and authority contact Develop positive relationships with team, customer, suppliers, Westinghouse in-country representation Interpret and transmit project/contract requirements, and subsequent changes, to functional groups following an integrated change management process. Coordinate communications ensuring team, customer, and all stakeholders are kept informed of status. Ensure efficient handling and transmission of correspondence and documentation internally and externally. Identify opportunities for additional business growth. Contribute to development of fuel business related products and services Identify and communicate opportunities for improvement, lessons learned, and risk avoidance for future work. Develop and deliver presentations to communicate status, problem resolution or promote related products or services. Understand and apply the Westinghouse quality processes and procedures and ensure compliance with company Quality Management System.
Requirements for the Position:
Industry Insight: Familiarity with the Westinghouse fuel designs, processes, and tools as well as knowledge of Bulgaria’s Nuclear Licensing and Non-Nuclear Permitting processes. Bachelor’s degree or higher degree in Nuclear or Mechanical Engineering or related technical discipline Written and spoken English and fluent in Bulgarian language Experience: 10+ years of relevant experience, ideally with involvement in projects at Kozloduy Nuclear Power Plant Networking Abilities: Proven ability to establish and leverage effective networks across various functional areas Very good knowledge of MS Office Professional Products Readiness to travel abroad and within the country
