Hadrian is a worldwide supplier of quality toilet partition and locker products. Hadrian was the first manufacturer to powder coat toilet partitions and has continued to embrace new technologies and materials in order to offer architects, designers and end-users more flexibility in design. Hadrian’s wide range of toilet partition products includes; powder coated metal, stainless steel, embossed stainless steel, and solid plastic. Lockers are available in Emperor (corridor), Gladiator (athletic) and replacement front styles.

Job Description

We are seeking a warehouse lead with 5-7 years of lead experience. Our ideal candidate will be a hands on working lead who leads their team by example; Strong leadership, confident with an exceptional work ethic who can hit the ground running; MUST be able to lead their team and not afraid to hold team members accountable; has a passion for leading/training & development of team and the ability to maximize the strengths in your team on a consistent basis.

The Lead Hand is responsible for coordinating staff in their delegated department to ensure production requirements are met while ensuring quality standards are achieved.

Responsibilities:

​Directs and allocates operators to do daily/weekly tasks based on production schedule

Ensures that employees work safely and that safety precautions are always taken

Communicates with production Supervisor and other departments as necessary, to ensure that work requirements and priorities for each shift are achieved

Track daily production KPI and ensure quality standards are being maintained  

Troubleshoots and resolves issues with machinery / equipment/ quality and production

Uses Insight and JD Edwards software to determine production requirements, updates production information in JDE and understand all paperwork and documents

Provides training to shop floor employees based on Standard Work Instruction

Provides constructive feedback of issues and recommended solutions to resolve

Provides effective leadership to employees by monitoring and assessing employee performance and providing feedback and coaching.

Creates a positive working environment by driving empowerment, ensuring employees are motivated and engaged.

Identifies training needs and ensures employees have an opportunity to develop and grow

Other duties as required

Qualifications

Typically has 5-7 years of manufacturing environment or more increasing responsibility directing and leading others

Fully competent in all tasks within department and can train others

Can perform approx. 75% - 100% of all jobs within warehouse departments

Has passed Standard Work Instruction tests or all tasks expected to perform

Forklift certified

Consistently demonstrates leadership skills through formal coaching and teaching others

High School education or equivalent
