Position Summary
The warehouse Inventory Lead role is responsible for driving compliance of service center processes by maintaining accuracy and reconciliation of all material within the warehouse. This position will audit all inbound and outbound processes to maintain inventory accuracy. It will also drive the daily cycle count execution, investigate discrepancies, and perform inventory adjustments.
Responsibilities
Works within the Cycle Count Program at the Service Center- completing counts, researching discrepancies, and assisting in the implementation of countermeasures.Audit inbound and outbound processes and create detailed reports of any deficiencies found in shipments, including defects and load quality compliance.Ensures transactions are complete and accurate, tracks open receipts/production orders/canceled SO’s and reconciles as needed.Coordinate with operations, customer care, and sales to determine the root cause of inventory discrepancies.Develop action steps to minimize inventory discrepancies and make recommendations on programs to improve inventory management.Work for material quality assurance by implementing and controlling audit/reporting processes.Resolves most questions and problems and refers only to the most complex issues at higher levels. Works under minimal supervision.May assist in training, assigning, and checking the work of lower-level employees.Leadership Competencies
