Scope of Responsibility:

The Warehouse Lead is responsible for overseeing daily warehouse operations, ensuring efficient workflow, inventory accuracy, and adherence to safety protocols. They act as a key point of contact between warehouse staff and management, driving productivity and fostering a team-oriented environment.

 

Essential Duties:

Lead, train and mentor warehouse staff to ensure high performance.Delegate tasks and monitor progress to meet operational goals.Coordinate receiving, storage, and distribution of goods.Ensure timely and accurate picking, packing, and shipping processes.Monitor equipment usage and schedule maintenance as needed.Directs the bundling, staging, and loading of material for customersAbility to pull and kit parts daily by specific job numberAbility to manage incoming and outgoing shipments of freight dailyOperates and ensures that all forklifts are safely and responsibly operatedMaintain current material flow by the daily production schedule and other schedulesPerform and manage cycle counts to ensure accuracy Maintain accuracy of inventory and report discrepanciesAbility to communicate and work well with others within and outside the departmentContribute to a safe working environment by being responsible for quality, safety, organization, and cleanliness in your area of operation.Enforce safety regulations and warehouse protocols.Conduct regular safety checks and address potential hazards.Ensure compliance with company policies and government regulations. Manage attendance without creating productivity problems Ability to train and review employees in assigned area Ability to operate ERP and other systems as needed Resolve conflicts and promote a positive work environment Regular and on-time attendanceWork in your shift as scheduledGetting along with coworkers Perform other duties as assigned

 

Position Requirements:

Education:  High school diploma, or equivalent

 

Experience: Experience in managing compliance of environmental, health and safety (personal, industrial & occupational) regulations, policies and procedures.

 

Skills & Abilities

Must maintain a valid driver's license and remain insurable under Sabre’s vehicle policy. Proficient working knowledge of Microsoft Office products such as Outlook, Word and Excel are required.Must be able to give direction, coach, train and guide a diverse team of varied skill to efficiently meet department/company needs.Must be able to demonstrate accuracy of work, effective organization skills as well as the ability to multi-task in a fast-paced, changing environment.Must be willing/able to be hands-on in the Warehouse/Inventory/Yard areas and work at a computer.Must be a team player within all levels of the company.Must effectively communicate with personnel, management and supervisors via two-way radio, phone, email and in person.Must be able to read and interpret Warehouse, Receiving and Inventory documents and paperwork.Regular and timely attendance is required.

 

Physical Requirements:

Must be able to lift to 50 poundsMust be able to perform physical activities that require considerable use of arms and legs and moving entire body, such as climbing, lifting, balancing, walking, stooping, bending, twisting and handling of materialsMust be able to work in an outside manufacturing environment for long shifts, including weekendsPosition requires manual dexterity, arm-hand steadiness and a safety-minded individualMust be able to work in an open environment exposed to extreme temperaturesMust be able to perform work in any environment and various weather conditions such as rain, sleet, snow, and extreme cold and heatMust have the ability to concentrate on tasks for long periods of time and be able to observe and receive information from all relevant sources
