Temp-to-Hire position$20.00 to $24.00 /hourFull Time work availableFirst Shift (Monday through Friday from 07:00am to 05:00pm)Review jobs from prior days’ work or previous shift including, quantity/quality ran and proper identification on productPrepare personnel assignments to resources according to the need of the shiftProvide assistance and training to employees who need technical adviceReport major delays in manufacturing or quality issues to Manufacturing ManagerImplement cross training when possible for personnelRead and interpret blueprintsProficient in assigned welding techniquesInterpretation of mechanical drawings, including weld requirement symbologyKnowledge of wire and filler material applications for various steel alloys, aluminum, and some exotic materialsWorking knowledge of fixturing and weld set up parameters (amps, volts, etc.)Proficient in the use of conventional and precision measuring instrumentsProcess inspection, certification, and documentationWelding equipment maintenanceImprove processes, have knowledge and responsibility of scheduling jobsAssist and train other welding personnelFinish grinding applications using manual and power toolsUtilize and abide by ISO requirements and safety proceduresLead Welder Qualifications:
Five years related experience and /or training or an equivalent combination of education and experience.High school diploma or GED preferred and/or equivalent combination of education and experience.Welding Certifications preferred.Applicant may be subject to a background checkPre-employment drug screen is required as a condition of employment*A conviction record will not necessarily prevent you from being employed.
