Job Description:

Produce safe, quality products. Escalate or remediate any food safety and quality concerns/risks including participating in product hold investigations utilizing PDCA and/or 6W2H.Monitors and ensures employee conformance with safety requirements including lock out, tag out validations and Good Manufacturing Processes (GMP).Enters run information into CDC (MII) system and assigns downtime reasons throughout shift.Determines placement of employees on the line and assures that proper rotation takes place throughout the shift by implementing a rotation of employees every 15-30 minutes.Properly fill out documentation which includes but is not limited to: Daily Roster, Production Report, Employee Exception Sheets and Broken Jars mapping.Assist with equipment changeovers.Leads and participates in TMOS meetings (shift huddle, line review meeting, associate hand-off).  Fills out shift huddle boards when applicable.Coaches, develops, and trains hourly team members.Report employee conflicts timely to Supervisors.Follows escalation process, including immediately informing maintenance of any breakdowns or adjustments requiring maintenance assistance.Immediately notify Supervisor of any deviations from safety, quality, or performance standards.Inspects work area prior to the start of the shift to ensure area has been properly cleaned and is set up properly for first run to include jar size, spice, raw material, brine, and caps.   Assist Supervisors in monitoring employee performance, directing employees to proper sorting standards, fill weights and properly staffing of the lines.Role model and educate team members on The TreeHouse Way (Own It, Commit to Excellence, Be Agile, Speak Up, and Better Together).Ensure a safe work environment for the team. Immediately correct or escalate any safety issues or hazards. Assist with investigation of any safety incidents using PDCA and/or 6W2H along with safety report.Other ad hoc items as assigned.

Qualifications and Requirements:
