Summary: Oversees and troubleshoots to maintain efficient process of shift and efficient shipment flow
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following:
Troubleshoots to maintain smooth efficient flow of shipments Instructs and trains employees on the job as necessary Responsible for labor management training and reporting metrics for assigned areas Responsible for running reports and maintaining Peak department KPIs. Communicates Peak and Labor Management expectations to team members Plans and issues work assignments as instructed by supervision to maintain department schedules Maintains Newell and department quality and safety standards Escalate productivity, safety and systems issues to Distribution management Reports irregular conditions such as non-observance of standard procedures, equipment failures and workload planning Shift planning and assign workload distribution roles Initiates requisition for material and supplies Creates and maintains distribution role duties for training and backup up support Cross functional with all other leads within Distribution Maintains general good housekeeping Efficient in PKMS/SAP warehouse management tool 1 - 3 years’ experience with Excel Ability to extract reports in PKMS/SAP and problem solve Supports team objectives Other duties as assigned Strong interpersonal and leadership skills are a must Must be able to direct and perform all departmental jobs required to support warehouse area Must be organized, accurate, detail oriented and have demonstrated problem solving skills Must have valid Forklift license or the ability to obtain one Must be able to work any shift and a weekend schedule when needed Must be able to work in any area at Supervisor or Manager’s discretion Must be able to work overtime as needed
Supervisory Responsibilities
Directly supervises Coleman employees and contingent workforce employees. Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization’s policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; addressing complaints and resolving problems.

Education and/or Experience: High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Ability to read and comprehend basic instructions presented in English.
Computer Skills: Proficient in SAP/PKMS along with strong Microsoft Office skills with emphasis on Microsoft Excel and Word
Language Skills: Reasonable ability to read English. Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations. Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the public.
Mathematical Skills: Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs.
Reasoning Ability: Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.
