· Develop and maintain policies and procedures applicable to the operations of the plant in the areas including Material Handling, Inventory Control, and Operations Support.
· Manage the activities of the materials team members regarding production support, inventory control, and data reporting.
· Confer with the Production manager and Materials manager to establish work schedules, as well as accountabilities and goals for performance evaluations.
· Manage for maximum efficiency and productivity of personnel.
· Maintain adherence to company policies,safety standards, and good housekeeping practices.
· Monitor and report scrap and otherinventory-related data to maintain accurate levels of production material.
· Communicate effectively with the team and maintain positive employee relations.
· Monitor scheduling of incoming production material to ensure adequate inventory levels.

Required Qualifications (Experience Level, Skills, Knowledge):
5-7Minimum Years of Experience within the field. 1-3 Minimum Years of Experience withinthe automotive industry. Must be able and willing to travel and work at customer sites, including industrial manufacturing plants which might require climbing, lifting, or working inconfined spaces. Strong communicator who’s detail oriented and consistent in their approach and follow-through. Computer skills.Preferred Qualifications (Experience Level, Skills, Knowledge):
